About Us
Nelly Diaz, creator of the famous Angel Pack Mei Tai is a busy mother of two. She learned quickly that being a parent of small children requires an extra set of hands. She started making her traditional asian style baby carriers in 2004 and sold them on eBay. As demand for her well designed and gorgeous product grew, she opened up a website. She has created a loyal following of babywearing parents. The art and convenience of babywearing is still much undiscovered by the general american population. Most new parents know no alternatives to the expensive and uncomfortable front carriers that leave babies' arms, legs and head to dangle and bob. Wanting to appeal to this group of of mothers and fathers, Nelly started designing the new Angel Pack - LX. The Angel Pack LX is a structured carrier that employs the use of buckles on the straps instead of hand tied knots. It retains the essence and functionality of traditional mei tai while reducing the learning curve. In addition to great design, the fabrics are modern and hip for the posh parents out there. |
